Trace how a story traveled
For each investigation, the Narrative Trail records the earliest discoverable source, first major publisher, outlets that repeated it, whether coverage was independent, wire-service origin, ownership and funding relationships, headline changes, corrections, and — where evidence exists — algorithmic amplification.
Ownership or financial connections are relevant context but never automatic proof that a report is false or coordinated.
